Caroline Higgins serves as Director of Ethics and Compliance for The Picard Group. Her experience in practicing law and consulting services builds on the strong skill set at The Picard Group.
Prior to joining The Picard Group, Higgins served as Assistant General Counsel for General Services Administration in Washington, D.C., an independent agency of the United States government to help manage and support the basic functioning of federal agencies. Her experience with contracts includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Prior to working in Washington, D.C., Higgins practiced labor and employment law for The Kullman Firm, one of the oldest and most experienced labor management and employment law firms in the United States. She drafted policy statements, motions, and legal memoranda. She also advised executive level clients and mediated cases involving labor and employment issues.
A native of Acadiana, Higgins is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Loyola University Law School and has returned to Acadiana to raise her two daughters. Higgins is active with her daughters in the local community and currently serves as a board member of the Mardi Gras Krewe des Jeunes Amis and is a former board member of LASOAR.
