David Koke serves as Director of Governmental Affairs at The Picard Group. Prior to The Picard Group, Koke worked in Baton Rouge, gaining valuable insight into the legislative process and state government operations. Koke served on the committee staff for the Natural Resources Committee; Agricultural, Forestry, Aquaculture and Rural Development Committee; and Ways & Means Committee in the Louisiana House of Representatives. In addition to his work in the legislature, he has assisted on a number of election campaigns through advocacy, marketing, and fundraising efforts.

 

Throughout his tenure in college, Koke gained four years of building relationships, knowledge, and experience during his time working at the Louisiana Capitol. He is well versed in areas such as the capital outlay process, tax legislation, and conservation of state resources.

 

Koke graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is a member of the705 and participates in fundraising efforts for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He resides in Lafayette.
